Compatibility This is the Firewalla Purple SE. The IPS functionality is limited to 500 Mbits. This device can be a router or bridge your existing router. When in Simple Mode, this device may not be compatible with all routers. Please refer to the Compatibility Guide video, the "specification sheet" document in this listing, or the compatibility guide on the manufacturer's website to see which routers work with Firewalla. Set up may require login to your router to do basic configuration.

How to Use The box comes with a USA power supply, a Cat 6 ethernet cable, and instructions for installation. Downloading the Firewalla App is required to set up your Purple SE. The app will guide you through the steps to set up your device. Using Purple SE in Router Mode (recommended) will require a modem and additional WiFi access points. If you want to continue to use your existing router as the main router, you can set up the Purple SE in Transparent Bridge Mode.
